Where to find an outlet for extra energy?

I need to find an outlet for my 3 almost 4year olds energy! He is fine most of the time at home with his lil sis but he can get a lil rough with her at times. I need to find an inexpensive way for him to get used to being around kids his age so he is better with the group we go to once a week, he gets so excited he can scare the other kids. Thats never a good thing.

At 4 if he was living in the UK he would be at pre school for 5 sessions a week of up to three hours each session to prepare him for school the following year. He really needs stimulation at this age so enrole at all the mums and tots if you do not have any government funded play schemes near you. Interaction with other children is so important at this age. Ask around and see if any of the churches run a playgroup as they are usually cheaper and are not bothered whether you are religious or not. Also make sure you take him to the park so he can find a little friend to play with for an hour or two. Children have the nack of finding friends where ever they go. Ring the local council today and find out what is in your area. I suppose we are lucky in the UK all children from 3 are entitled to free playgroup sessions and they learn so much and make so many friends. It's great!
