Hi! I moved from NV to colorado, with the move I left working behind to stay home with my kids. Now I'm here and my husbands always working and money is tight so I can't join a gym (that was my 1st thought to meet people) Any ideas?

MOMS CLUB international has local clubs. MEETUP.COM has all sorts of meetups for every age group.

There is a Colorado moms group here on circle. Otherwise just go to the park and hang out with your kids. Other moms should be there too!

I'm having the same problem. We moved from Seattle to a very small border town in Arizona and I haven't been able to make any friends. It is driving me a little crazy. We haven't been able to find a church yet, my husband works most Sundays and we only have one car. I went to the library but my 3 yr old was too antsy and wouldn't stay put so we left before I was able to talk to anyone plus there wasn't any mom's just a preschool that brought the kids. I've been going to the park that is close to my house but I guess being Arizona everyone stays home. I just don't know what else to do.

So I just recently went to "meetup.com" someone @ another group recommended it. I found a lot of groups where I am and also a person who lives the next street over. I need some adult interaction I'm going insane, so much so I end up posting stuff on my page just to keep from going crazy! :)

The local library where I live has a program for toddlers and I've met mommies there. Also, I've met some of my best friends at church.

I try not to go anywhere with my kids that they can't be loud. My children would do fine there but I still have a lot of work to to with my neice and neph.  But that is a good idea I bet they have stuff on the weekends too.
