so i have ADD so somedays i have a hard time cleaning and others like today i get into something and just cannot stop i work and deal with it but today i was cleaning my room it had gotten really bad and i got something and needed to make room so i made room then decided to finish it so i did this i also dont like being told what to well when i was cleaning it wasnt what he wanted me to do (all this time hes sitting on his ass on the computer) so he mentions that i should be doing something else i snap and yell i cool down and finish up my room, then i did what he wanted me to do and well i wasnt doing it right i try and keep calm but he nags me intil again i snap i cant stand this i would still be in a good mood and more would have gotten done if he just didnt say anything how im POed and i didnt finish anything

i know right its just... err its hard when i wake up and decide i need to clean my room thats all i do until its spotless or i pass out and hes like do the laundry cindrella do the dishes cinderella make some food cinderella. sorry jusy had to add the cinderella i just watched it with my son this afternoon

ugh! I'm angry for you! I have ADD as well, and I know all about how that "Hyper-focus" works (when we start on something and are actually able to focus for once, but it drowns everything out, and if we stop to do something else we've lost it for good....). Anyway, my take is that if he asked you to do something, he should be happy with the way YOU do it. If he wants it done differently, he can DO IT HIMSELF!!! And it wouldn't hurt to compliment you every now and again on how great the room looks since you spent a few hours cleaning and organizing it or at least thank you for doing whatever he asked you to do....
