I would sit down and have a very serious conversation with my fiance. Now is the time to correct the issues that may prevent you from wanting to marry him. Explain to him how you feel and what changes you want. As far as your little ones are concerned, you need to teach them consequences. When my son is not listening I tell him again (very clearly) what he needs to do. Then I count to 3. If he isn't listening on 3 then he has to go to time out (2 minutes for a 2 year old, 3 minutes for a 3 year old, etc...) Good luck.

I wouldn't leave but that is because I believe divorce is a last resort. One: Guys are really bad a listening. My husband is the same way sometimes. Unfortunately my oldest son is just like his daddy in so many ways. Part of it for them is a bit of ADD. Two: Have you tried counseling? I would try everything possible before giving up. Have you sat down with your husband and discussed it with him? Does he see that your daughter is imitating him? Does he realize that will cause more stress for him if she doesn't learn to listen to you? I would try to have a heart to heart talk with him. When you do, be sure to phrase everything beginning with "I feel...". Try not to sound like you are attacking him. If that doesn't work try counseling. I hope things get better for you.
