i had an ex boyfriend tell me today that i am wasting my life having kids young and being a SAHM because i should travel and open up to different cultures but the truth is that i dont care to travel and there are plenty of different cultures in montreal. and what he doesn't get is that i am happier then most people even him and all his drugs.

oh and how unlucky i am being pregnant and nursing because i cant do drugs and drink he cannot seem to understand that i have no need or want for that. he seems to foreget that i left him because he started doing cocain again.

the truth is that i really don't care to travel... and neither does my husband, i have no real need to migrate during the winter i love snow. my family is all in Canada or US. the only need i had to travel is to Winnipeg for my great grandfathers funeral, my husband and i are talking about going to Niagara falls in the summer. my family is 100% Canadian we've been here since the fur trading with the Indians...

we are waiting until our kids are older to get married so that we can go on a family trip after and my boys can enjoy it and were talking about staying at Walt Disney world.

You're welcome to vent in here whenever you want.

I managed to travel when I was younger and didn't start my family until my mid 20's. I'm glad I did though because then I had another child in my mid 30's so it's going to be a while before I get to travel without kids again. Just because there are different cultures in Montreal, doesn't mean you really experience them. Unless you have traveled and seen how people live in their country it's hard to understand.

A lot of people have no desire to travel though and others get the travel bug and never stop. I'm Australian with a Danish Mother and Australian Father. My ex husband is South African (we met in London) and my current husband is Canadian. My step mother is Canadian as well and my step father is English. My brother's girlfriend is Austrian so we have a real mixed bag of nationalities just in our family. I have also traveled the world and have loved every moment.
