Had a party with all of his class friends, soft play then tea & games (18 children) on his birthday. Met our sons friends outside school at a farm the day after his birthday for a picnic and cake. That was the nicer day!

We had his party at the Charlotte Nature Museum. The theme was turtles and the kids got to have a private showing of the turtles and later got to feed them. Then they had a tour of the museum and it ended with an impromptu feeding of the museum's alligator. They all loved it. Of course there was the private room for the cake and gifts, but the reptiles were the show. The cost was the same as the year before at one of the indoor inflatable play parks--but much more fun. It didn't hurt that it was educational either.

this year my son's birthday was on holy friday on Easter, So, that day we went to the cinema with him. As it was holidays, we decided instead of doing a big party, we just invited his cousins (3) and a friend and we went to the cinema with all of them. After we went with them to have lunch in MacDonalds. It was lots of fun. They enjoyed a lot.

We took him to Timber Ridge Lodge water park and resort. He had a blast with just a few family members (sister, cousins). The weather was bad so he didn't get to go horseback riding but he still had a good time.

We celebrated our son's 6th birthday with a bouncer in the backyard, a pinata, cake, pizza and close friends and family. It was just the right amount of kids and people!

Since he wants to be a paleontologist, we had a dinosaur themed party. He wanted to invite his entire class so we had it at the park. The cake was a T-Rex. There were 2 games: Digging for Dinosaurs, were we buried little plastic toys and had the children dig for them. We also had a pinata for them filled with pencils and candies. We had fun and so did all the children!

Jim had a party at the local wacky warehouse with his friends from school, to make things easier for the other parents we invited siblings. On his actual birthday we offered to take him out but he wanted to stay at home and play with his new toys lol
