What hospital did you deliver at?

I delivered my son at Tampa General Hospital and I have to say, baby #2 WILL NOT be delivered there!!! I had the worst experience ever! My doctors where fighting non-stop whether I should have a c-section or have a natural birth due to my blood disorder. Needless to say, they voted on natural birth and by that time, it was too late to get an epidural!!!! The only drug they gave me was morphine. When Logan came out, the nurses rushed him out of the room and into the NIC-Unit freaking out that my son was lethargic....duh...you gave us morphine!!! After delivery they took me to my shared room that had a note on the door that said, "No men allowed!" my husband was not allowed to be in the room because the other people we were sharing the room with had a problem with men!!! I was finally able to be introduced to my baby 12 hours later! We were finally given a private room where we stayed for 3 days and spent the last day at the Ronald MacDonald House (a complete blessing). I was very unhappy with TGH overall.

Wow I'm so surprised to hear that about TGH! I delivered both of my daughters there and had no issues. We requested a private room when we first checked in and my husband stayed on top of the nurses to get one. As far as the doctors fighting, it sounds like you need a new doctor! What hospital is your doctor with? Usually they will only deliver at the one they are associated with.

I also had the worst experience ever there! It was so horrible not only do I never want to have another baby there, I dont want to have another baby ever because I am afraid of the birthing experience. The hospital staff were terrible. I had a 30 hr labor and a C secton in the end with MAJOR complications. I am just happy my baby and I are okay.
