My next tatoo is going to be the Irish Mother's Knot (just Google "mothers knot" and it comes up) with my daughters' birth stones for the dots (I have 3 daughters).

I also have little butterflies that represent all my daughters on my lower stomach along with butterflies for my hubby and me :)

I already have a moon on my shoulder and I hope to get stars around it with my daughters name (Holly) in them. If you already have one, try to incorporate it with your daughters name. Leah-Ann is a bit long. I know you said you wanted a pooh bear but if that doesn't work, try maybe getting her name around your ankle in vines.

I love old school ink, so I think a heart with a banner across it with your daughter's name is a wonderful and classic design, but if you want something a little less western trad, you could always find out what her chinese zodiac symbol is and have that instead.

I have 2 boys but if I had a little girl I would probably get her name with an elegant tiara sorta going around it. Hard to explain.

i have 2 little girls and what i did is i got a really cool pic of their astrology sign (gemini and sag.) and put their first name (zoie&cambria) on the top and the birth date on the bottom like this (06132006) without - it looks perty cool

The back of your calf is a HUGE canvas...large enough for a 5x7 portrait of your little girl.

Maybe a really clear ultrasound picture? I have a stunning picture of my son's hand in utero...that would be a nice idea...but it should be done in negative, reversing the black and white.

A cartoon baby rattle...with her name on it, as if it were personalized.

Draw her name out in a really fancy script and then 'hang' something from maybe the H in a pacifier...or a baby rattle...or a teddy bear...or a baby doll. I suggest 'hanging' your item from the h...because it will center the drawing under the middle of her name.

I've seen a tattoo was a really pretty fairy, with a long flowing dress. The folds and creases in the bottom widest part of the skirt on her dress showed the name, "Claudia" (that one is on my best friend's back)

Maybe a classic image of "THE stork" holding a little pink bundle...with her name written on the bundle?

I could go on and on....if I knew more about your daughter. What are her likes? What foods does she love? When was she born? What is your pet name for her? Was she conceived somewhere the beach? What is her heritage? Was it a difficult pregnancy? Did you wait a long long time to get pregnant with her...or was she a surprise? If I knew more about her...I could brainstorm a more personalized idea. :)

i would start with what is the one thing that when ever you see it or think about it makes your mind go right to your daughter and only her, then center you tattoo around that. For me it was the four leaf clover, you could do her favorite toy or the cutest thing she says or something along those lines

Even if she is not old enuf to write her name you could get her name and foot or hand print and her DOB and like Kristi said anything you decide will be beautiful!!

How old is she? If she's old enough to write her own name, you could get it tattooed in her hand writing. What month was she born in? Maybe you could get her birth flower with her name in, or around it. Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be beautiful!
