How to tell your parents?

Hey guys I'm new here and I'm also 16 and about 10 weeks pregnant. I'll turn 17 in December and I'm just confused and worried and excited and just everywhere with my emotions. I understand that I'm young and that I probably should have waited but it happened and I was not willing to end it or give my baby up because it is something that I am responsible for and that I have to deal with although I know it will be hard. I'm just here basically asking for any kind of advice, help, or tips on what's going to happen, ESPECIALLY on how to tell my parents who are super religious Mexican parents. Anything is welcome and accepted, thank you very much!

Hi Jennifer, firstly congratulations on your pregnancy! I had been there before and can definitely feel your emotions, which is quite normal.
As you are determined to keep the baby, I think the best way is to let your parents know as soon as possible, so you and baby can receive the best care at the earliest opportunity. Find a more relaxed atmosphere and time, maybe when everyone is watching tv after dinner or something, or at the weekend when they are more relaxed. Start by letting them know that you are going discuss something very important with them. Remember, the baby is yours and nobody has the right to take it away from you.
And of course, you will find heaps of help here!
All the best!
