my son is now 5 months he waas born (9/21) he doesnt roll an he doesnt sit up. he spits an i think he is cutting teeth. an he talks all day long.

but the only time i see him really moving himself around is wen i get up to check on him an night an he is completely turned around in his bedor he is all tha way sideways. an i dont understand if he is doin 360s an 180s in his sleep why he doesnt do them wen he is playing in tha floor or anytime he is awake.

i was told babies practise stuff in their sleep and then wen there ready they do it wen there awake, my son rolled over at 6 weeks and is trying to crawl yet my friend's baby is 4 months old and hasnt rolled or anything, every baby if different (:

lol thanks. i try everything to help him i thought maybe he was jus to chunky to roll around because he is already 20lbs. lol

My son used to do the same thing. He was late with crawling, he was just this little butterball who layed there all day or was being held all day. Finally he started do military style crawl then, moved to real crawling, then a month after he did the military style crawling he started pulling himself up on furniture, and cruising. He started walking at 9 1/2 months and it was like he totally skipped the crawling stage. Maybe your son is the same, and isn't interested in crawling. I've also heard that some babies who are behind in motor skills are more focused on learning new words then moving. So they're late walkers but early talkers. Good luck!

my daugther is the same way. she's going to be 5months next week and i'm still waiting for her to roll and move around like she does at night.
