Need some advice: My 2.5 y/o boy screams and cries because I will not give him a lollipop. Recently, he will do this every time we're out like church, grocery store, mall, and the car. He will not take no as an answer. I can't go anywhere lately because of this. he just will cry, whine and/or scream for a long period of time, like an hour sometimes. Help!

Yep, keep doing that. He is 2.5 yrs old, so you are going to have fits. If you are consistent and don't give in he will learn that no means no and eventually stop throwing tantrums. Right now it is part of his age and learning. He is starting to have an opinion and realize his independence. Somethings he is going to be able to do and others things not now it is him learning to accept that not everything he wants he gets. The less you give in the quicker he learns that.

I tell him no and try to offer something else to him, like cheese crackers, sometimes nothing. I just keep telling him I don't have lollipops. I actually took him to store last night and he excepted No for an answer and was fine when I offered him cheese crackers.
