Ok, this all started about a month and a half to 2 months ago. Dd, who's 2 1/2, would have just walked into my bedroom (which is off the den) and all of a sudden come running back in the den literally trying to climb up me saying, "The debil's gonna get me, the debil's gonna get me!" I have talked to my daughter about God, but the Devil would be a little much to have a conversation about with a 2 yr old. I'd just say, "No baby, the devil's not going to get you, Mommy would never let anyone get you." This happens a couple times a week, but on the days it does happen, it happens a couple times in that day. After a couple weeks of this, I eventually started to tell her to just ask God to make the devil go away and He would. One day we were at my in laws and she ran up to me saying he was going to get her and I looked at my mother in law and asked, "Who on earth told her about the devil?" She said she didn't know, but her nor my father in law had ever talked about the devil. So this goes on for a month and I start getting really worried, so I asked her, "Baby, why do you think the devil's going to get you?" She said "Him told me, get me" I started asking more, "Do you see him?" "Yeah" "Well what does the devil look like?" (She has never, to my knowledge seen a picture or even been told about the devil). She started to get shy when I started asking more questions and I told her it was ok, she could tell Mommy. I said, "Is he green? Purple? Yellow?" She cut me off, "He's white." "Is he tall? Or short?" "Short, he eyes pink." I was about sick. I said, "When did you first see him?" "At Gammy and Poppy's house" (my parents, who will come pick her up occasionally on a Saturday here and there). My mom, who is religious, I wouldn't think would tell a 2yr old about the devil, she's a a kindergarten teacher, but I called her and asked bc by this point I was getting freaked out. She said, as if shocked I'd ask, "No! I sing Jesus Loves Me and Jesus Loves the Little Children, but I've never said anything about the devil." So the next day I'm on the phone with my mother in law and she said, "Do you know what DFIL just told me? I was telling him about DD saying the devil's going to get her and he told me that just the other night DD was sitting up in his recliner with him and she told him the devil was gonna get her and pointed out the window saying he was out there trying to get her."

Now, I understand kids can have vivid imaginations, but this is starting to freak me out. Is there anyone that's gone through this or something similar?

Sounds like your daughter can see spirits..she will be fine.. but the places where she sees them away from home ( especially if she spends the night there) she may have to stay clear of.

Prayer and keeping the spiritual walls of your home up ( by asking the Lord to keep his Angels encamped around and in your home will keep her from seeing them at home, say the same prayer for her school..I'm sure if her teachers are teaching her about Jesus then they have already said the prayer at school...

She is gifted...not possessed....My kids are the same way, so am I as well as my mother, my brother and my sister...

You were chosen to be her wonderful mother to help protect her..

Get with your pastor and other church members who have kids like yours..you all will be fine..

Oh, and pray and ask God how can you best help your daughter.....

Thanks everyone, I was scared to mention that she might be seeing spirits, and omg as I am sitting here writing this my daughter was laying in the floor with our dog and the dog got up and jumped up onto the couch whining. Not 5 seconds later my DD jumped up into the recliner with me and said the mean old man gonna get me, mean old man lives in mommy's closet gonna get me. Go away! Go away mean old man! I said, Boog, who are you yelling at? She said, it ok Mommy, mean old man gone back to your closet. I said, "so he's not there anymore?" "No."
About 5 min later she looks at the same place she was when she was yelling at the "mean old man" to go back to Mommy's closet and said, "Look! It's a new man. Aww, come here, it's ok. You want something to eat?" And I said, "So there's a new man? He's not the mean old man?" "No, mean old man went back to you closet." "Oh he did?" I asked her, "mmm hmmm," sshe said. Ans she went on to talk to "the new man for another minute or 2 and then she started saying, "Come back, come back new man. You no want something to eat? Come back!"

I am officially acknowledging the fact my daughter is sensitive to spirits, as I was and to a degree still am, just not as sensitive as she is if she can see these people. How crazy is it I get on here to see if anyone replied and was just thanking yall for responding and that just happened. Crazy

I highly doubt your daughter is seeing spirits. She HEARD this somewhere. Devil has no plan for her. My son did this and outgrew it in a few weeks. Explain to her there is no such thing. If you believe it, it will be true. Just talk to her they understand more than we think. Keep us posted.

Oh yeah. Don't let just anyone baby sit her...teach her.. etc..you always have to check in with her senses to ensure that the real devil doesn't have a plan for her...

P.S. I am a Christian and have been for 33 years.. I am raising my kids up in Christianity as well.

God Bless.
