Hey moms !! My 2 1/2 year old has very low teeth enamel and her teeth are slowly decaying .. I took her to the dentist once and they gave her 4 silver caps and pulled one out !! My poor baby was 1 year old when they did that and she had to be wrapped !! It was horrible I felt like a bad mother !! And now they tell me she needs 6 more and she doesn't complain about pain and doesn't hesitate when chewing anything .. She's off the the bottle and never liked pacifiers .. My mom tells me to leave her like that so they can fall on her own and I do want to but I'm afraid of what the doctor will tell me .. But then again she's my child and I don't want anybody to hurt her at this tiny age !!!! What can I do !!!!

I would get a second opinion. If the decay is bad enough they may have to pull them. If you leave them then it can actually affect her permmenit teeth causing damage to them and possibly needing to pull those also.....so pulling them might be needed. One thing you should look into is having her teeth capped. That protects her teeth from decaying. Insurance won't cover having it done to Baby teeth, but that might be something worth doing. Also a need once her permmenit teeth come in to protect them.
