Mommies, please help... My toddler is literally refusing to eat anything, usually ate good at school and ate bread, fish fingers, yogurt - and now will only eat half a cup of yogurt a day. He is not sick and runny old self... drink lots of tea an milk but i am worried, he refuses any type of food we offer him... I just want to know if it is normal for a toddler to eat litterally nothing as we are going in for the 3rd week of bad eating. Thank u mommies...

Keep in mind that milk is very filling. I would offer him meals as usual and explain that he will get his milk if he eats. If he refuses, wrap up his meal and put it in the fridge, then when he is hungry later offer the meal u put away instead of a snack. He may go on a brief little hunger strike, but when he gets hungry enough and realises that he won't get anything else, he will eat it. Make sure u make meals that he has liked in the past until he starts eating normally again. If u feel comfortable with it, u can place some sort of treat he really likes in view and out of reach and explain to him that if he eats his meal, he gets to have that treat as extra incentive. This method only works if u r firm with it. Alternatively, u can always call his doctor and ask for their opinion.
