I am a full time working mom of a 23 month old boy. The last couple of weeks he is throwing fits/tantrums when I get home from work. Not sure how to deal with them. He is watched by his grandparents and is very spoiled. He just seems so unhappy to see me. He cries, hits and throws toys. After, a little while he will calm down and things are fine. Help???

Thanks Jui:

The last couple of weeks have been so much better with him. He is much better with me when I get home from work. I've noticed it depends on who is watching him. If my mom has him, he is great when I return home from work but if my boyfriends dad is watching him, he acts out more.

I would just suggest that spend more time with him and as time goes he will change his behavior . Also tell him he is not supposed to do that . We as moms need to be calm while dealing with our child. If we shout back ,it will affect them ,and they will shout at us. Take two deep breaths and tell him tocstop throwing things at you .Also the grandparents should understand and tell him the same.
