3.6 year old has never slept through the night?

Here is my dilemma, I am pregnant and getting quite close to that 12 week 'safe zone'. My 3 and a half year old son doesn't sleep through the night. He slept about 3 weeks through the night when he was 7 months old and that's it! He hasn't had a daytime nap since he was 7 months old either. Every single night he wake every 15 mins from about midnight up until 3am-ish. No good reason, not bad dreams, and nothing else that I can think of he just wakes and cries for me. It is easy to tell him to lay back down and go to sleep but 15 mins later, I'm up again. This hasn't bothered me before but I am getting more and more tired with this pregnancy and will have a newborn before long.

Has anyone else had these issues? And what do I do to get him to sleep!? He doesn't eat sugary junk food and only drinks water or milk. So it can't be from that.. I'm at a loss and I am SO TIRED ALL THE TIME! Help?!

Pick one method of sleep training and stick with it for few weeks and see how it goes. Its important to keep at it. It probably won't go at first at all, so its important you pick something you are comfortable with to begin with. Your son will most likely resist whatever you choose since he is accustomed to what you have been doing until now and from his perspective the change will be unwelcome.

The thing is that he probably never learned how to fall asleep on his own and now 3 years in you might have struggle on your hands. Luckily you have months until new baby comes so you have time to deal with this.
