My son had the same issue and I got him into a program called Early Intervention they help on just the issues he needs and it has helped immensly. They also got him into a Preschool for him to make sure he is getting all the help possible. Look into your local public schooling im sure they will have something.

I suggest having a speech therapist taking a look at him my son's pediatrician had my son see one at the age of 2 b/c he wasn't talking like he thought he should be and he has been talking non stop since but my son had chronic ear infections from the time he was 9 months old til he was almost a year and a half old so he was a tad delayed b/c of them

Hi As a former preschool teacher in MA I know that speech is free through early intervention in the school system. Your pediatrition should know who to contact. I believe this is avalable in all states do to the no child left behind act. If you can get the help now when your son starts kindergarden he will be ready.

I've been taking my almost 3 & 1/2 to speech therapy... since he's not really talking, she's given me some helpful hints to work on with him. It's alot of repeating what they are trying to say and making games out of if he can try to repeat words that I am saying, it's constant repetition but it's coming along slowly! Alot of story times and getting him to say what's in the pictures
