Hi everyone. I am a single mommy to a healthy little 4year old. The problem i am experiencing is his behavior seems to get out of hand. His school is finding this a problem and is threatening expulsion. People think he has ADHD, which i am trying to treat by taking him to a play therapist to determine his anger and his lack of obeying. He has these outburts that are hurtful to watch. In the meantime i would like to know if anyone can give me some advice as to "what he can eat/drink, what routine will be helpful and any other advice is available".

Thank you

Try a nature remedy called brightsmart. You can buy it on amazon or eBay and other products as well. It has great reviews!

You can try Natural Vitality kids calm multivitamin. My daughter use to bounce off the walls 24/7 and now she is much more calm, sleeps through the night and meltdowns are at a minimum. It is sort of expensive $35 a bottle, but it beats the heck out of doping your child up on meds. I am pretty sure before I started her on this stuff she destroyed more than $35 worth of items in my home a week. Worth a shot. Good luck to you!

My sister is having some of the same issues with her 5 year old daughter. We are in the beginning stages of trying to figure everything out too.

Also my niece had such a hard time relaxing at bedtime to fall asleep (which when she is tired makes her way more irritable) so my sister was given a Lilac spray. You just spray on to the pillow and sheets and she was able to go in and fall asleep in 10 minutes! It was amazing compared to the sometimes almost 2hours of tossing, turning and crying.

Here is a good article for the diet portion ...http://www.webmd.com/add-adhd/guide/adhd...

That's all I have so far.
