Hi Courtney I tried adding you on FB but can't find you.
Our little man was put on Methotrexate in Nov 2010, Enbrel was added in May 2011, and changed from Enbrel to Humira in Nov 2012 as doctor felt he should have had much more movement at that stage. He definitely seems to have improved in the last few weeks - he's able to run much better now.
We're still on insulin injections as he also has eczema and doc is afraid the plaster will make it worse, night time control is difficult.
What age was your daughter diagnosed?

I really thought I would never find someone else in the same position. I can not imagine having both at such an early age. We are on Enbrel. Methotrexate was damaging her liver so we had to go off. We are pumping now with T1D but still not keeping really under control. Where are you from? If you want to IM me or friend me on Facebook feel free.

Hi Courtney.
I just found your post and had to reply as we've a 3 year old boy with T1 diabetes and JRA, he was diagnosed at 10 months. Having diabetes or arthritis is a worry but having both is a nightmare - trying to balance medications, etc.
He is on Methotrexate and Humira injections for JRA and is getting stronger all the time. But as he started these injections so young he has missed out on some of his vaccinations which is a real worry when there's a chance he'll pick something up!

We just found out our little one has some kind of arthritis about a week ago. Would love to hear from other moms going through the same thing!

There is a strong possibility my daughter has it. We will find out for sure with in the next couple of weeks. I have been trying to find someone else to talk to about it to. I joined a group for it but it seems no one else really wants to talk about it. I have read so many horror stories about it. It seems scary. If you ever wanna talk I am here =)
