My son is 15 months old and his daycare is having a Recyclable Art Exhibition, for Earth Day. Yet I'm stuck on what type of recyclable craft my 15mth old can actually help with, any ideas? Thanks in advance for all your ideas.-RC

You can make small containers from old plastic bottles for plants. But if this is not possible then you can just create handmade art like coloring with an Earth day on old card papers or even an old canvas. Children like to color and I am sure your child would also find it interesting.

Since its spring, you guys could make a bird feeder out of an empty 2L pop bottle or milk carton. You leave some space in the bottom for bird seed (or bread crumbs) then cut a hole big enough for a bird to get into. Poke a pencil through the pop bottle so its like a little perch inside, and tie a string around the lid part so you can hang it from a tree.

Why not make bumble bees out of the paper roles left over from toilet paper or paper towels? You can make a snow globe with an old glass jar like from jelly (or a plastic one would work too), some sparkles an a small toy ( I used a princess that broke off my daughters jewelery box. It would have just been thrown out but now she has a snow globe that she made). Pirate hats out of newspaper. These were just a few that I though of off the top of my head. I hope one of them was helpful. Good luck!
