I recently started making bibs with sleeves which are selling like hotcakes! Well, I have figured out a way to create a 'pocket' on the bottom. Do most moms prefer a bib with a pocket or no pocket? Is it better if they can choose to use it or not? What do other moms thing?

I should go for bibs with pocket. Wanna know why? Because they are really useful especially for baby that belongs to messy eaters. The pocket will serve as a food/mess catcher. The baby bibs that has a pocket will help to less the mess in mealtime.

my motherinlaw made us bibs out of hand towels and dish towels -- big, absorbent, and covered the WHOLE kid.  could care less about pockets, but the towel-with-a-neckhole rocks!

When my son is in his high chair the tray is also close enough so there is no mess but when we go out to eat I like the bibs with pockets to catch the crumbs and food from falling in his lap!! :)

I prefer them without pockets. I usually put the tray on the high chair snug enough to her chest that the pocket doesn't do anything.

Do you have a website set up for the bibs? I would love to check it out! Ps: I prefer bibs with a pocket. At least they keep some crumbs off the floor!

Yes, it does open. I know what you mean, I hate those too, there is no point when they don't stay open. haha

Good for you and good luck with your sales. I have to say I like the pocket but there were some pockets that would just sit to close to the bib itself and served no purpose whatsoever. The good ones were the ones that opened out a bit you know what I mean so that when food would fall, it would fall IN the pocket (I suppose it's their purpose lol) So that's my opinion, make sure when it's on, it somehow opens. Take care! :)
