Has any one's son had circumcision revision surgery? My 3 year old is having it done in 2 weeks. I was wondering how long it takes to heal and how long before he can comfortably ride in his car seat, because of where it buckles!

Yes, circumcision revision surgery is common, more than I thought it was. DS's reattached as well, but like I posted we lucked out and didn't need the circumcision revision surgery. Just a really hard pull back from the urologist and he's all good to go now. Looks so much better!

He did get circumcised as a newborn. The skin just reattached no matter how much we pushed it back. The urologist says it's common.

Did you not get it done when he was a newborn? If you did what is this surgery?

We just went through a similar situation with ds who's 20 months. Although he didn't have the circumcision revision surgery the doc. just pulled the skin back really hard, but for a week we had to continue pulling it back and putting neosporin on it. After a week, it did not look sore anymore and he was good to go. The worst was the first couple day, but after a week he was good. Sorry I can't be much help, but that's what it was for us.
