Thanks all! I find that the cool mist (Vicks brand) is really loud and she doesn't stay asleep. Do you all run yours the entire night?

like the others said, cool mist works better. I found the warm ones got the room to hot and my kids did not get a good sleep.

i found that the cool mist ones work better. My son has a cold right now and i've been using one. It seems to help a lot! Plus, you wont have to worry about your baby getting injured. The cool mist ones help a lot in the winter (not sure where you're from and what the weather is like there) I live in NY so the heat is on and it's as dry as a desert. The cool mist works great! Hope your little one starts feeling better :)

Cool mist humidifiers are recommended for babies for safety reasons. I have one for my son that looks like a frog that I got from Target. Those things are a life saver when your kid is sick! I run mine whenever my son has a stuffy nose.
