I'm a little nervous. My daughter has a few issues with her teeth and is terrified with the dentist. They suggested putting her under (in the dentist office not at a surgical center) to work on her teeth. Has anyone had to do this and if so any advice? I'm just feeling uneasy about the whole situation and was wondering what experiences other moms have had with this?

Thanks for the good luck! It is a pediatric dentist. They offer sedation but said she would be semi -awake? They're advising surgery is the best option. Just curious if any other moms have had to do this option? If so, how did your child handle it?

Is it a pediatric dentist? They may just want to put her under in order to avoid scaring her, or having her move around too much while they are working on her mouth. If you really aren't comfortable you can always talk to them and find out if there are any other choices. Good luck!
