Hi guys. My son is 3.5. I still need to feed him. Because he doesn't eat himself and even i should distract him with something so he eats. Worse than that, he is a picky eater. No fruits or veggies or rice. Keeps eating a few options, and once in a while stops eating something but doesn't add anything instead.
Please help me. What should i do?? I tried making shapes but doesn't work.

Thanks for your response. I will definitely try that. I am so tired of struggling with him over food. By the way, any suggestions where i can find some new recipes?

Do you think he is more of a grazer? Maybe he is just in the "grazing stage". Can you let him eat when he wants, what he wants for a while, keep track of it as you see him eat and see if you think it is enough calories? Kids go through transitions as they grow, this just might be one of them. In my experience, fighting it only makes it worse.

I would definitely try moving him to feeding himself, even if you have to use finger foods.

He used to eat meat, chicken and fish. I cooked them with different methods. But now he doesn't eat them if they are stewed. He used to love kebab but now he doesn't touch it any more. He is more focused on pasta. And problem is of he gets really hungry it doesn't make him eat. He becomes cranky and bad tempered and refuses to eat at all.

What does he eat? Can you learn something from those items and expand on that? I have learned that eventually kids get hungry and eat. Hugs mama!
