Do you think your toddler is chubby, thin or just right?

Mine is tiny. She is all muscle but barely reaches the charts for height and weight. I would say she's just right. Now my 6 year old is bone thin. She is too skinny, but all she does is eat. She's just very active.

i think my son is right. he's on the taller end but is usually about average in terms of weight.

September thanks for the advice (I only just looked back at the thread now). I'm in Australia so we don't have those stores. He does have some pants with button elastic, but really making them myself takes no time :)

Um... I guess "just right"? He's bigger than most kids his age, I guess he's taking after my side of the family. (I'm the short one at 5'9) He has a long torso with short legs, like his dad. He's chubby, he's 31 lbs. He's not as active as some toddlers, but more than others. He's certainly not skinny or light, he's a solid little block of boy. It's funny to hear the grunts when people who are used to other toddlers pick him up. I don't know, I think he looks pretty darn gorgeous. He's certainly the best-looking boy I've ever seen. :)

@Bertina- same for me. I have tried eating some of her food 1st, hoping that she will follow suit.

Vicki our son's waist is small too and I have a similar problem with pants as you do. I found pants with adjustable waist at Macy’s, Jcpenney’s, Old Navy and Target. Maybe you could look into that.

Our son is on the short side but so am I and so is my hubby so that makes sense. Weight wise he's just right.

My 2 yr old is still abit chubby, but she is thinning out gradually. She has been blessed with chunky thighs like me and very solid, but she's perfect the way she is.

4yr old is super skinny and tall. He's size 5 for his height but round the waist he could still get away with size 2 and still have room to grow. But again he's perfect as he is

My 6 year old is in the 50% for weight for height but he is small for his age. He is prolly about 25-35% compared to others his age. He is incredibly strong as he is in dance and gymnastics. My 2 year old is solid. She is in the 80% for weight and around the 60% for height but she still wears a 2T. She can do proper pushups and chin ups. She is also in gymnastics. I think they are both perfect. My son eats everything in sight and my daughter eats any fruit in sight. The boy is like his dad...tall and lean and my daughter is like me all ass and thighs.

My daughter is in the 90ish% for height & weight, too. She is proportional & adorable. :) Most people think she is 18 months instead of 15 months.

My daughter is in the 90ish% for her height and weight so she is proportional and not at all over weight, just bigger them most kids her age.

My toddler is chunky but she's leveling out, she just has a belly now, she's in the 50th percentile for weight which is streadily decreasing. She eats everything though. My 6 year old is just bones, he's in the 10th percentile for weight which is actually a big jump for him. He is super picky but slowly getting better, it's a good thing clothes are required in public or I'm sure CPS would be knocking on my door because someone would turn us in.

He's thin, but just right :) His bum is so skinny I need to make his pants myself. Shop bought ones that are long enough are too big and fall down! He's healthy though, no kid who is this active can be unhealthy.
