My son is 2yrs old and he only drinks milk, water, and juice...I even take him off juice and he still doesn't eat any solids. Even when i take his cup from him for some hours he still refuses to eat, He hasn't eaten any solids since he was 8 or 9 months. He likes ice but that's not going to fill him up. He ate bubblegum and Captain crunch for awhile around 14months but now he doesn't do that either. I need some advice, please help....

I have a 4 year old with food aversions. It is a psychological repugnance to some foods provoked by emotions associated with the food rather than by any chemical properties within the food. Michelle's advice is sound. It is good idea to see your child's doctor and/or nutrition specialist when you suspect a deficiency in your child's development. Amazon has a good read called, Food Chaining for sale, It is written by several specialists and has been very helpful for our family. (I'll send you the links). What I found hardest is dealing with judgement and guilt because my child wasn't "normal." I try to remind myself that even if my child and his diet are "not typical" at this point in his very young life, it doesn't mean that he won't grow to enjoy all types of foods. It can be frustrating managing my expectations for him and his condition but I try to stay positive and focus on the little victories.

Have you taken him to see the doctor or a nutritionist? Over a year of not eating properly isn't normal and I would be seeking professional help ASAP!!!!!!
