Feeling Hopeless

He's 2. Going on two and a half. I can't go out in public very often anymore without major tamptums, I get told no and stop constantly. Smacked at. And I'm quite honestly having a really hard time waking up in the morning and being that picture perfect mom I envisioned myself as. I'm trying and that boy means more to.me than anything. But why do I feel so lost so alone and wishing for my freedom and life back. Help please

He needs to know it is not ok to hit or be mean to you. We did a chart and if she was good she got a sticker and after a week of good behavior she got a treat/surprise. After a month we went on an outing. If she was bad we didn't reward her in any way. We also had a special time-out spot to put her in and she knew to stay there because the longer she acted up the 5 min started over. Every kid is different on discipline. If they know they can get mom worked up they will continue. We went through many trials of what worked and didn't work before we finally found something that did. The less of a deal we make out of their fits the more they realize they won't get the attention they want.
