My 20 month old daughter puts her feet on the dinner table every night. We try to stop her. Should we ignore this behavior and it will soon end? Or should we continue to correct it? advice please

Keep trying so she knows that it is a constant rule, no matter where you end up eating. My kids have done this from time to time too, and I remind them that feet are dirty things and don't belong near what we put in our mouths.

Does she sit in a regular chair or high chair? Perhaps pushing it closer or further from the table will help her keep her feet down.

Thank you for your response! My husband and I have been consistent with shoeing her feet off the table any time she puts them there.
She sits in a high chair at the table, without the tray on. It has wheels on it, so she can push herself back and forth. We have tried a booster, but she doesn't seem ready for it. She will push herself away from the table, and I don't want her to fall backwards.
We give a consequence of putting the tray back on the seat if she puts her feet up, and that seems to deter her.
I will try telling her that feet are dirty, I haven't tried that yet. Thank you!
