Food coloring on carpet. HELP!

A few months ago I moved and before I could get all the kitchen boxes put away my daughter found the food coloring. She dripped blue, green and yellow all over the cream colored carpets in this apartment. It has had a few months to soak in as I didn't have a carpet cleaner until now. I'm afraid to clean it because I don't want to set the stain any further. Any moms out there know anything to get this out that way I don't have to pay for new carpet? Please help. Thanks.

reslove carpet cleaner works great..but another one that i always use on the carpet when my son spills "shout" the laundry stain remover for you clothes..also works good on your carpet..spray some on let it sit for about 5-10 min depending on how much or bad the stain is..then take a bowl of hot water with a little bit of laundry det. in it..makes it suddys and scrub away..but you really dont have to scrub any stain that i have gotten out with this method usually comes out pretty easy..thats what i use and it works good for me..goodluck

Maybe try hairspray. That is what I use on my couch when my dd decide my couch is paper. I'm not sure if it will work on food coloring. I'd try a small spot first. Maybe take masking tape and sorta tape off a small area in case it does bleed, i'm not sure it that would work or not.Good luck and let me know if it anything works.

Im not sure if it will work for food coloring but you can give it a try it never hurts to try but try simple green all purpose cleaner or a little bit of paint thinner might work but if the simple green doesnt work and you try the paint thinner remember the fumes get strong so keep windows or open and stuff. No garentees that that they will work i have never tried them with food coloring
