my son has figured out how to open doors and since gets up early as possible, very quietly as he can he goes into the kitchen there often is a chair in there because he helps me cook a lot well anyway he makes a mess i have a kcup carousel he takes a bit out of my expensive kcups and dumps them he also emptied my spices on my spice rack, if there is no chair that doesn't stop him hell get the kcups from the other side and hell take the paper off the cans... please help i'm on the verge of locking him in his room i could put the baby gate to keep him in there (for now) but other then that im blank

I would be putting up the baby gates and rearranging the kitchen a bit and hiding stuff in cupboards or on top of the fridge.

I think the gate will help sense he can open the door. It sounds fine to me :) Let me know how it works out after a week of trying it.

Put a gate at his bedroom door or the top of the stairs or hallway outside his room to limit the area in which he can wander. That way you don't have to worry about the extra wide entrance way to the kitchen. Then my other suggestion is to put the coffee in cupboards or on top of the fridge up out of his reach. There isn't much else you can do.

I think it could make them sick I think that you need to just find a place to lock it up somewhere he can not get to it. I am so sorry that I can not be of more help to you

Have you tried hiding the kcup after he has went to bed? As for him doing this he is doing because he gets the attention of you telling him not to do it or whatever. Do not lock him in his room because that leads to him throwing things and breaking them. I would say try time out like on the couch or in a chair and make him sit there do not talk to him put him there explain why he is going to time out and then walk away every time he gets up just put him back without saying anything to him and reset the timer. Do it until her stays there for the age he is. When he Done explain what he did was wrong and why and tell him to say sorry and hug him. Once he knows that he will go to time out or his room every time he misses behaves he will stop.
Good luck
