I read online about it. It says there is no scientific proof that it works. I figured there is no harm in trying it. Within 5 minutes of doing it she stopped coughing and fell asleep. She has now been asleep for an hour which is longer than she's had in two days. I just wanted to know if anyone else has tried it and did it work for you?

I just did this a few days ago for my little boy and i found it worked great after a hot bath and some warm pjs with some thick socks!

What i did for bed was - ran the shower on full hot to steam the bathroom. Gave her a warm bath in menthol soap. Lathered her chest with baby vics, Regular vics on her feet. Hot chocolate and she was out like a light. I have only heard her cough once. I am a happy mama.

honey wasn't stopping it enough. It was lasting 15 -20 minutes and she would start coughing again. Plus it is almost impossible to get her to take anything.
