Help! Preschool and potty training...

My son, Brennan (2/4/2008), is 3 1/2. He will going back to preschool next Friday 9/9/11 (he stated Feb. 2011 after he turned 3). In the winter/spring term we didn't worry so much about the potty training thing because he didn't seem ready. We started him after school ended in June, and has not taken to it so well.
He will use the potty when he is naked, but in undies, pull-ups, or a diaper he always tells us too late. He can't run around preschool naked, so we aren't sure what to do. Do we just continue to try at home, or do we send him to school in pull-ups or underwear, and hope that he catches on with the influence of his classmates?

Talk to your preschool. They will likely say start with the pull ups and then switch to underwear. You might have more success once he starts preschool because there will be other kids his age there going to the bathroom instead of using a diaper. Positive peer pressure!!!
Really, as a former preschool teacher, seeing your friends doing it sometimes is that last bit of motivation a kid needs.

Good luck!
