On the days not going to great what is going on? Make sure he slept enough. Keep him on track by sending him to the potty every 30-45 minutes. What rewards do you use? If it's just food studies show it will go away because if you get food all the time you don't have a craving for it. You might need to just keep rewards fresh and something he wants to work for.

The way i do it is a sticker chart, after x number of stickers she can pick a prize out of her potty box. Make sure the number of stickers is reachable, usually within a day. My chart has the following spots for stickers- asked adult to potty- went potty, washed hands Simple as that. If she gets 6 stickers she gets her prize, it doesn't matter which category the stickers are in. So even if she doesn't potty or ask to potty. if she washes her hands each time we use the potty she has earned a prize.

Now the prize box. it can be anything. Mine is full of dollar store things. For boys grab a bag of army men and open the package that way he only gets one at a time. Can also get lil dinos in bags like army men. Won't hurt to throw some candy in there. I also add in coupons. Some are for movie time with mommy. If he has friends his age add in one for a playdate.
