I thought this thread is meant as a joke since the poster dissapeared in thin air.
And there is no such thing as "perfect" anything. It depends on too many things to be able to claim that something is "perfect" for everyone. And when it comes to roles in life that involve human beings, its impossible to be "perfect", we can only be a good as we can manage.
"Perfect" is a word I would attribute to a sandwich or a end table.

lol, what is that. no such animal girlfriend. You can only do and be the best you can. When you try to put yourself on that kind of pedestal you fall long and hard. just focus on being a good mother who is flawed and a constant work in progress.

No such thing, just be the best mom you can be.

You do that by being there for your through everything they do; smart, foolish, good, bad, etc. You love them all the time and tell them so. You give them your time and attention, even when they do not want it. You discipline them and teach them rules so they become a productive member of society. Teach them that humans are flawed and deserve forgiveness and tolerance, even themselves and their parents. Teach them they have value as an individual beyond what the eye can see and who their friends perceive them to be and what they can do for them. Teach them to gather facts and opinions and then think for themselves. Teach them that kindness is not a weakness and to stand up for themselves and those who cannot.

I know sounds like an impossible sort of list. But think about what is happening in the world today and what a mother can do to make things better. I feel that my best is to teach my boys to be the best people they can be.

Just do your best, and that will be perfect. Good luck.

Perfection is a non-attainable standard.

Do you love your kids?
Do you do what is best for them?
Do you look after yourself?
Is your house liveable?
Can you speak in complete sentences, when you are in public?

There, you are the perfect mother.

No one can be "perfect". Perfection, like beauty, is subjective. Besides, your children need to know that you are human; have flaws and make mistakes, just like them.

Just do your best to provide, guide, teach, love and be involved with your children.

You don't, there's no such thing! As long as your children are disciplined, loved and cared for that's the best we can ask for. :-)
