My daughter is almost 3yrs old and still sleeps in the bed with me and her daddy. I would love some tips to get her in her own bed because I know we would all sleep a little better if she did.

Get her a special night light, or pillow, blanket, etc that she gets to use in her own bed. I would recommend one of those light-up pillows: they have them at walmart (https://www.brightlightpillow.com/)
She will be excited and not as scared to sleep alone

How old is your son jennifer?

Lindsey- that's a good idea, to do a routine so theyre used to it. With my daughter, if she has a bad dream or something I lay her out on the couch and let her watch a "special" movie, theres a yo-gabba-gabba episode called "sleep" that she likes to watch and it puts her right back to sleep.

I used the Super Nanny method. Do the special routine of tucking them in, reading, singing whatever, tell her goodnight and that she is going to stay in her bed and you will see her in the morning. every time she gets out of bed you walk her back to bed and place her it in, I always tucked mine back in. You can not say anything. It is rough the first week depending on the kid, but it works! My daughter still sleeps with us if she is sick or wakes up here and there crying though.
