Muna's 17 mths now and she's used to falling asleep in my arms while im sitting in the rocking chair. When she falls asleep then I place her in her bed. Tried the other day to place her in the bed while awake and she cried.

My daughter is 2 years and 4 months old. She doesn't believe in sleeping in her bed most of the time anymore. Suddenly the floor is a cooler place for her to catch her Zzz's. I have never really rocked her to sleep (except when she was a newborn/baby baby), but my sister has had that problem. I have had a problem with a screaming child instead at bed time. My advice would to be put your baby in to her room and let her scream it out. The first week is the hardest (Mine took 4 days to get used to Mommy not sitting there). Just do yourself the favour ... your baby starts yelling for youu ... Don't fall for it ... THAT is hard to break.

My daughter is infatuated with Fairies so because we just moved we redid her new room all in Disney fairies including a new toddler bed with you guessed it Tinkerbell on it, I also splurged and got her the tinkerbell bedding set for her well that was all it took for her to want to sleep in her big bed we say are you going to sleep with the fairies tonight and she goes running for her big girl bed so maybe if there is a character she likes find a quilt or a pillow case with them on it for her to sleep in

I have the same problem. My daughter falls a sleep on the couch next to me but not in her bed. I am going to try and make her lay down for her naps before she is a sleep and sit in the room with her.
