He's obviously not ready. Don't push him but keep an eye out for the signs that he's ready. If he starts to tell you his nappy/diaper is wet or wants to be changed then that's a start.

My son is almost 3and i tried everything.. rewards, potty with me, watch me, watch daddy nothing worked so i did stickers to.start with. If he sat he got one. Pee 2 and poop 3 and after so many he got a prize. But that soon failed cuz he got to.were he just wanted the stickers so.he could get a prize.. so i just put him in underwear and have been ok. No.accidents yet and its been about a week. I let him pick out his underwear he gets more excited about wearing them that way..

With potty training you have to let them lead you. You want to encourage them to use the potty, but not push it. If you are using a little potty chair have it sitting out. When you go to the bathroom if he is in there with you see if he wants to sit on his potty....if not don't push it. If you are not using the little potty....does he do ok with the big potty? Some kids do well with the big potty and others not so much. If it is hard for him to use the big potty buy a little one. It does not have to be a fancy one...just one that he feels secure when sitting on it. Before bath time encourage him to sit on the potty first. Don't worry about if he goes or not. If he does by chance go make a big deal of it, but if he does not go just praise him for sitting. As he gets more comfortable with the idea he will start to sit more often and then go more often as well. It is a process. In general boys tend to be closer to 3 yrs old before they train.
