my son is 20 months old. he has been in a toddler bed since his first birthday. his little brother is 5 months old. they share a room, but just this week my older son starts crawling into the crib during bedtime and naptime. im just afraid he is going to land on his brother and hurt him. he just gets in and plays but i am terrified that he will hurt him. i get him in trouble every time but i dont know how to get through to him.

I had the same problem with my three year old. The only difference is that I put the baby's crib in our room until my three year old over came this. While the crib was in my room I put strings with bells attached to it on the door and around the crib so I could hear it of she decided to try to crawl in the bed. You might be able to try the same technique with the baby bed in the room it's in, just make sure you have a baby monitor to hear the bells if you can't from your room. Hope this helps you out, it worked for my family.

I had this problem recently with my 3 year old crawling into the crib with her newborn sister. I found out how she was crawling into the crib (climbing on the window sill and then into the crib) ... I rearranged the room and I've not had one incident since. It would be helpful to know how your son is climbing into the crib.
