Firstly, keep your spirits high, your good mood will automatically transmit to him.. talk to him and show him whatever comes while traveling, carry his favorite toy, snacks, picture book and take them out only when he seems to be getting bored or uneasy.Hope that wud help you! all the best!!

My son is super into books, cars, balls and well... "watching himself" via video. When we see a tantrum arising or one is already in session, first one of us walk away from the area if possible. I know when your in the grocery store in line it's not the easiest! Then we get down to his level and try to distract him, MOST of the time this works. Sometimes, on bad days when he's hungry, tired etc...it might sound silly, but we actually sing to him or start to recite his favorite book (you tend to get them memorized after reading elmo 234 times in a row). He slows his crying because he wants to hear what we are saying. When it's bad I have actually left a cart full of groceries to go to the car while he settles..OR HOME if it's that bad. Sometimes they just need a break from it. I could only imagine not being able to say everything I want to say when I want to say it because I just don't know how to yet! I would probably kick and scream too! (: Good luck and I hope I helped! It can be so frustrating, but just keep in mind that he is learning with you!
