How to get my 3 yr old to sleep at night again?

My 3 yr old was pretty good to sleep all night, but the past week she is scared to sleep in her own bed. She prefers to either sleep in the loungeroom or co-sleep with me. My husband gets a bit tough on her and I don't like his method of keeping her in locked in her room.

I'm thinking I'm might try and give her a bigger bed to sleep on but I'm at a loss. Do anyone have any ideas/advice about how to this, it would be greatly appreciated :)

She is at an age where her imagination is growing and she may be developing some fears about being alone. Ask her what is making her feel afraid and empower her to control it. If she is afraid of monsters, you can make "monster spray". If it is the dark, get a night light. If it is being alone, take her to pick out (or gift her) a special stuffed animal to keep her company. Maybe a special blanket would help her feel secure?
