How to style my 2year old biracial hair

I am looking for suggestions on hair to style my 2 year old daughters hair. She is adopted and is biracial (African-American/Caucausin). I have been using Curls for Babies on her hair, the shampoo and conditioner and they have a leave in conditioner and milk cream. Her hair looks really good and is short with tight curls. So far I've just been washing her hair anywhere from 2-3 days and putting the leave in conditioner and milk cream in there in the mornings to tame it down. Its not really long enough to do ponytails yet. Not sure if there is anything else I should be doing or how to style it?

the leave in conditioner sounds good but i think washing her hair every two to three days is too much. african american hair is alot differrent from caucasian hair and if her hair is more on the african american side u are drying it out which will only damage her hair. try pink oil moisturizer its lite on hair and makes it easy to manage and cut back on washing to maybe once a week.good question and good luck ! :)

Try to ensure you always keep her hair moisturised because afro hair gets dry easily and this breaks the hair.My baby's hair isn't long enough for ponytails yet so we have a wide collection of alice bands and bows, lol!
