If there are twins in the family then there is a high risk of a twin pregnancy. It is pot luck I am afraid.

It depends if they were identical or fraternal. If they were fraternal then it would have been 2 eggs produced and fertilized so if you are constantly produing 2 eggs then yes, you there is a higher chance of twins.

If they were identical then the 1 egg split and that usually depends on your family history. A fertility specialist would be able to help you a lot more, I just know the basics of anatomy and genetics.
