Have you talked to his pediatrician? Our 5 yr old was like that, but not the fighting at school part. Anyway, his Dr suggested he might have O.D.D. It is a defiant disorder. Talk to his Dr and see if there is anything they can help you with. Good Luck

My nephew is like that. He is 5, almost 6 years old. The sweetest boy when he's buy himself, however, when he started kindergarden this year, started acting out in class. throwing things and hitting teacher and peers!! They had to evacuate the classroom a few times because he was throwing things. He could not tell us why he had done those things. Anyhow, they ended up taking him to a child psychologist to determine what causes those outbursts and found he had ADHD with oppositional defiance and are still doing further testing. He basically goes to a out patient treatment center half the day, then school the other half of the day. Hope it doesnt go that far for you but I would start off by discussing it with his doctor and seeing a psychologist that specializes in young children

Children learn a lot from seeing how adults behave. Your son could be identifying with his father and consequently copying his behaviour. So if your husband is unpatient and yells at him, he is likely to behave similar to his peers.
As for sharing - that is learned behvaiour, so its up to you to teach him. Try incorporating sharing lessons in everyday playing.
