I was wondering why do you think you could be having twins? I am asking because it wouldn't cross my mind at that stage of pregnancy that it is a possibility.

I would say congrats you are having 1 baby. With the technology today and how far along you are they would know by now if you were having twins.

If 4 ultrasounds have said that you have a single baby, and you're 37 weeks (which is full term) I would say that you're only having one.
While it's not *uncommon* for a twin to hide behind the other at the first ultrasound (during early gestation), I don't see how it would even be possible for a full sized baby to continue to hide for an entire pregnancy, not just from the ultrasound, but from the heartbeat monitor as well (it's relatively easy to hear 2 distinct infant heartbeats).

While I suppose it's theoretically possible, the chances of it would be so slim that I would put it off as a complete fluke and highly doubt it's happened to you. You should be safe with the knowledge that you're only having one.
