My three year old dota nd I olways hve this big fight wheneva we go shoping together,.If the brand/label doesnt say Barbie or Dora or does not hve any of the cartoons she likes she just tells me in the face that she is not going to wear it,.Nd now um like whts with thesse labels?? How cme my lil gal is so into ol these.?? Shoping is no longer fun coz one of us olways has to come home with a sad face..

Yes...agreed...Its is what the child is watching that causes her to do this...My daughter was like this for a while...She's 5 now and she's into the whole "Justin Beiber" thing...I'd love to say that maybe they'll grow out of it, but every kid is different...As long as you give in to her with the labels and stuff, then she's liable to continue doing it...If possible, try to pull her away from it by having her wear other stuff and then have the "labelled clothing" as a suprise every once n a while...It may make it easier for u on not having to have certain things...But make sure you have the patience to deal with it, cuz if u have a lil one with a diva attitude like mine, the temper tantrums are sure to come ;)...Good luck!!!

I think it's something they identify with because they see it on TV. My son is all about Handy Manny, Mickey Mouse, and Thomas the Train. It's funny because we didn't have a TV for about 6 months but he was still hung up on them.
