my 14month don't like book!

Well!! He like play with book himself but HE never stay still when I read book to him! He wants go forward himself and try to take book from me ...
What should I do..

I think he just has a short attention span. Maybe the books you read should have more pictures or noises or interactions. Maybe the books have too words. When I read to my 3 yr old she likes me to make crazy noises and do dramatic reading. The sillier you sound and the more foolish you feel the better your child will like the book. Keep trying!

LOL, so true Catherine,
I ended up singing the words and acting goofy through a lot of books with my youngest son.
He loved the rhyming ones so it was pretty easy to come up with my own personal soundtrack for story time =)

No worries!
He is only 14 months old.
If one of my kids would sit still and listen to a story at that age, I would have thought they were child prodigies!

Your 14 month old in curious and cares more about what is in your hands and not in his hands than the story itself... I would just read books that are hard cover/pages so that he can take the book and you can kind of prompt him to read it to you (in his own words, of course =))
