my 17 month old has had constipation for about 3 days , any suggestions of home remedies

You can buy this stuff at the store, I forget what it's called but I used it on my daughter and it litterally took minutes for her to poop. It's a tube of stuff that helps consitpation; push it in the anus and wait. Trust me, you will have no more problems.

anything with prunes in it helps my son. I have also heard from friends that oranges and grapes make kids poop too (my son wont eat oranges or grapes)

my 15 month old was constipated for about a week and a friend told me to get pear nectar. i gave it to him and the constipation was gone the next couple of days. i also gave him prunes and pears. oh, also, the whole wheat fig newtons seem to help too. maybe it was just a combo of them all but it worked! i also dilute his milk with a couple ounces of water. hope this helps!
