My 19 month old doesn't listen to me.

My daughter is 19 months and is so uncooperative. I say she will do what I ask about 15% of the time. I get so frustrated. Even the simple task of sitting for a picture is a problem. Any suggestions or is this just totally normal?? Oh and apparently she doesn't do this at grandma's house. Hummm I need help.

My 17 monthold is SUCH an angel for friends and family who baby sit her and as soon as she sees me the horns come out! The worst part is I've been told a dozen times "she was so god until she saw you!" lol

What does this mean? She's human. She's testing the waters. She has a personality. Thats all with your daughter. She is trying to push you and see what she can get away with. And it's probably just part of her personality. There's nothing wrong with it on a developmental level, and actually, it's probably a pretty good thing! Although frustrating for you, keep working on it. She will listen sooner or later. =]
