my daughter has in the last month decieded she wants to come in and wake me up at least 3 times a night, i imediately put her back to bed and she drops off again, but then she wakes early, this may sound normal but she used to sleep straight through the night and didnt wake up till 8am but now its anytime between 5 and 6 and she then wants to get up, i work full time and sometimes dont get to bed till gone 1am so need my sleep too. She doesnt wake up crying or anything, just comes in to my room. she is warm and the bed is comfy so unsure what to do, tried warm milk before bed and all other tricks but nothings helping, please any suggestions would be much appreciated

Maybe she just wants to feel you beside her to cuddel up ! So i would say just let her.I think she just wants her mom...:)

My 20mo sleeps with me for that very reason. If she didn't, I would never sleep.

If you are open to her snuggling in bed with you do it! If not try making sure her room is a safe place for her (all outlets covered and windows locked and what not) Put a baby gate up in her doorway at night instead of closing the door so you can still hear her if something does happen and let her go that way she will still be in her room so when she decides to go back to sleep she can just climb back into her bed and doze back off. We did this with my son and he now knows that at night it is time for bed if he does wake up he will stay in his own room and play for awhile then go back to bed. Or get up and use the restroom and go back to bed. After a few days of being up half the night and having to wake up early in the morning my son was back on track as far as sleeping through the night with the occosional wake up here and there anymore. Good luck!
